Product Description

Arnica helps heal bumps, bruises, sprains, and trauma from a fall or athletic activity!

Arnica is used topically for a wide range of conditions, including bruises, sprains, muscle aches, wound healing, superficial phlebitis, rheumatic pain, inflammation from insect bites, and swelling due to fractures.

Ingredients: Arnica flowers (see below) infused in grape seed oil (easily absorbed into skin, therefore so are the medicinal properties of the arnica) with rosemary (assists in healing aching muscles, arthritis, exhaustion, muscle cramping, neuralgia, poor circulation, rheumatism) and birch (assist in healing sore muscles, sprains and painful joints because of its' anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties.) essential oils.

HISTORY

Arnica ( Arnica montana) has been used for medicinal purposes since the 1500s and remains popular today. Applied topically as a cream, ointment, liniment, salve, or tincture, arnica has been used by both Europeans and Native Americans to soothe muscle aches, reduce inflammation, and heal wounds. It is often the first remedy used for injuries such as sprains and bruises. Arnica in herbal form is primarily restricted to topical (external) use because it can cause serious side effects when taken internally. Arnica is often used in homeopathy, and should only be taken internally in the extremely diluted form common to homeopathic remedies. If you have any question about whether you have the herbal or homeopathic form of arnica, talk to your doctor before taking it. - Info from www.umm.edu

    Arnica Helped my Sprained Ankle

Posted by Karen on 1st Jun 2011

I recently twisted my ankle while mowing the grass and Jen suggested applying Arnica to help with the soreness I was experiencing. I applied ice to reduce the swelling and used the Arnica. Well, I was so pleased at how the Arnica helped with the soreness and, I believe, made a big difference in the healing process. Thanks!!!!!
